EVERYONE can use ALL of them, it is really just a preference of "how" you like to "feel" clean. Some ladies prefer a softer, soothing feeling, and some ladies prefer to feel sqeeeaky clean. Sometimes, one feeling in the morning and the other in the evening.

Cleansing Oil is a must for everyone. This is how to take off all makeup, pollution, and dead skin that has built up throughout the day. Most Women subscribe to the idea of removing EYE makeup before they wash their face, but we argue that it is necessary to also remove FACE makeup before washing our faces. At night, 4 pumps of Cleaning Oil on DRY fingertips, massaged onto a DRY face (and eyes) and then removed with a warm, wet, washcloth or cotton pads. THEN, wash your face. You will quickly notice less pore congestion and a softer texture to your Skin.

For your "face wash" choose whether you like a bar or a jar. The Rosette Facial Bar soap is a favorite for a soft and also squeaky clean feel (and the creamy suds are sooo good). The Cleansing Milk in Rosewood & Palmarosa is the whipped version of the Rosette Facial Bar Soap (with added honey) - this is the perfect option for the really sensitive or sensi-tized. If you like a super squeak, or battle pore congestion or breakouts, choose the Cleansing Milk in either Lavender & Lemon or Grapefruit & Sweet Orange. The ONLY difference between these two is the essential oil choice. Both of the Cleansing Milks are our goat milk soap that has been grated, and whipped with honey, and then blended with organic apple cider vinegar that has Himalayan Sea Salt and Baking Soda melted into it. We can't hardly make these fast enough.

We are ALL about exfoliation, but daily and gently. Our topical skin cells are CONSTANTLY dying and have to be sloughed off. As we get a little older, our Skin needs more and more exfoliation, but is also becoming more and more delicate. Quite the conundrum.

We quite subscribe to the "keep what you have nice" philosophy when it comes to exfoliation. We are NOT about letting skin build up and then drastically peeling it all off. That is kindof like never brushing your teeth and expecting the Dentist to take care of it. Exfoliation has to be a daily practice using multiple methods. We like to say "layers of sheer." One little layer at a time darling. When dead skin builds up, it clogs pores, gives bacteria something to 'feed' on -which is the main cause of breakouts, makes makeup look cakey, and dulls our complexions. Letting it build up, and then scraping it all off, in one fell-swoop, makes the Skin work way to hard to heal, which leaves it tired and vulnerable.

Using Cleansing Oil with a cotton washcloth at night is a really effective way to exfoliate daily. We know that sounds counter intuitive - exfoliating with oil? - but it works. Using a Geisha Facial Sponge every morning with your cleanser is a game changer too - even though you will never believe it by how soft that sponge gets when you saturate it with water. Once you start using it, you'll wonder how you ever lived without it before.

At least once a week adding a Scrub Bud to the rotation is key. These little buds of spun silk are quite incredible. Apply your Creme Nouveau or Phylisse and soak a Scrub Bud in (preferably) hot water for 5 minutes. Then put the Scrub Bud on your fingertip and rub your face in circular motions all over - including around your eyes, lips, eyebrows, hairline, neck, and back of neck. Twist the little bud around for fresh space as you go. The bud will turn gray - that is dead skin! Silk also carries the same amino acids and proteins as Skin, so the Skin can absorb those nutrients as you exfoliate. You will notice a brightness to your Skin too. When you are done - throw that little guy away. It's basically $1 per treatment - so make these a regular part of your life. (If you use Creme Florette - use the Scrub Bud before you moisturize)

Then, adding a gentle polish with Face Polish in place of your Cleansing Milk twice a week while you are in the shower (mainly along the t-zone of the face) is a lovely refresh. If you are Sensi-TIZED, please don't use the Face Polish - you really don't need it. And, on days that you wash your hair (no more than 1-2 times per week - well, wash your hair as much as you want :) but pour about 1 tbsp of either Masque in your palm, drip some water into the powder, mix it into a paste and rub it on your face and neck. Let it sit while you shower and wash it off before you get out. We always say that 3-5 minutes of a mask 1-2 times per week is waaay more effective than when you finally get around to doing 20 minutes every 6 months!

We know that most of our clients have tried a LOT of products in their lives. IF oil, was the culprit for breakouts, we would all be walking around with thousands of ZITs, because every pore makes oil! It is when oil and dead skin get stuck in pores and then bacteria start to feed on the mixture that we get a break out. Washing your face without removing makeup, dead skin cells, and all the gunk that builds up on skin throughout the day is like scrubbing your kitchen floor without sweeping it. It doesn't work very well and it's a waste of time. At night, first, take off that gross layer of makeup, dead skin, and dirt, and then wash your skin with your favorite Cleansing Milk. Yes, it IS another step, but it makes a world of difference.
Directions: Pump 4 pumps of Cleansing Oil onto clean, DRY, fingertips and then massage onto DRY face, and eye area to loosen makeup, dirt, and environmental debris. Hold one cotton pad in each hand and run them under hot water. Squeeze water from cotton pads and then wipe away all face and eye makeup. Rinse pads and repeat if necessary. Immediately follow with Cleansing Milk of your choice. For External Use Only. Do Not Ingest.
