Beaute Nouveau Botanical Beauty is a truly botanical beauty brand of skin care products, founded in 2012 by Lacey Haegen.  After 20 years of working in the cosmetic industry as a Makeup Artist, Product Specialist, and Manager for the industry's finest luxury brands and retailers, Lacey took a hard look at the harmful chemicals in the products she had once sworn by and set out to create her own all-natural, chemical-free products that truly delivers the results that Woman are looking for. 


All of our products are hand-made in small batches, with the finest botanical ingredients.  We make our products with our customers needs, desires, lifestyles, and health in mind.  We believe it is our duty to create products that you know you can trust without having to scrutinize the ingredients and we are driven by our passion for taking care of you and dazzling you, in the best possible ways. 


Beaute Nouveau (Boh-tay New-voh) means New Beauty.  

The name is inspired by Art Nouveau, the historical period between 1890 and 1914...It was a time when artists began to challenge the status quo and influence social change through Art. 

Artisans of this time romanticized nature over industry and illustrated Women as strong, contributing members of society for the first time in modern history.

We are currently experiencing a parallel to Art Nouveau in the Beauty Industry, where Women are rebelling against sensationalized definitions of "beauty," and against mainstream, mass-produced, chemical laden "anti-aging" products. They are demanding fresh imagery, beauty in all forms and colors, and a return to botanical, hand-made, artisan mixtures, and a true connection to their brands.

Our products carry the same spirit: empowering and connecting Women while romanticizing natural ingredients, and returning to artisan production.

Hello! I grew up in "Cosmetics" and I have been a Makeup Artist and Skin Care Specialist for 25 years. At 16, I began my career at a bath & body shop called Garden Botanika, and then moved on to Origins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, and Chanel for Nordstrom.  After Graduate school, I went into management and worked with all of the lines as a Department Manager for Nordstrom, and then Neiman Marcus.  

The beauty of this background (no pun intended) is that I have been highly trained and learned so much about ingredients, products, sales, marketing, and how the industry works at interpersonal, counter, store, and industry levels.  And, I will be honest, for many years, I drank ALL the koolaid. I LOVED working for these stores and all of the brands.  I was a model employee and I practiced EVERYTHING they preached.
